Cheonggoksa Temple

The Guksa(the highest ranking monk), Doseon built this temple in 879 (the 5th year of the King Heongang, Silla Period). He was motivated to build a temple at this site when he saw that a blue crane flew from the Namgang riverside and certain auspicious signs were full in this area.

Daeungjeon Hall, the oldest building in Gyeongnam Province, is a one-storied and tile-roofed house(Paljakjip style). It's style follows 'the profuse bracket system'. The hall was reinforced with three arched supports in the front and two arched supports in the side.
